Hi, my name is Jo, I have worked at the practice for 22 years. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1996 after completing 3 years training at Rodbaston College.
I am a veterinary nurse at the practice and help to deal with issues which may arise and keep everything running smoothly.
I am also involved in training student vet nurses and have gained my NVQ A1 certificate and also gained my clinical coach certificate. I have also completed a microchipping course and am now a qualified implanter.
I have always had a great passion for animals and I spend a lot of my time training and showing my dogs, I own 5 border collies and a Chihuahua (who thinks he’s a collie!).I also breed and have so far bred 8 litters. I have a great interest in dog reproduction and have completed the veterinary assistant skills certification (canine reproduction – expert level).
I thoroughly enjoy my job and regularly attend various courses to further improve my knowledge.
