Nursing Assistant

I joined the Powis & Partner team in 2008 and love to help nurse the patients back to health and enjoy the variety the job brings. From an exceedingly early age, I used to bring stray animals’ home and look after them, this is when I knew I wanted to eventually work with animals.

I went onto breed and show hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, and chinchillas. I also homed degu’s, chipmunks and lots of different birds, terrapins, tortoises, gerbils, and mice. I have participated in obedience training and shown dogs.

Before joining the team at Powis I worked for the RSPCA for 10 years. Outside of work I enjoy crafts and make all sorts of jewellery, keyrings and participate in craft fayres. I have two German Spitz, a Chihuahua and a tortoise.
