When PowisVets was established in Stourbridge, West Midlands, over 50 years ago, veterinary practices were typically local, independent, and family-run, deeply rooted in their communities and built on enduring relationships with pets and their owners. At PowisVets, we passionately uphold these principles while embracing modern advancements to provide exceptional veterinary care.

As a proudly independent practice we have the freedom to prioritise what’s best for your pet, maintaining our focus on fostering the bond between your pet and you. We treat every pet entrusted to us as our own, valuing our clients and our team equally. Inclusivity, equality, and collaboration are core to our culture and every team member matters. Our team combines experienced professionals, some of whom have spent their entire career with us and some that have brought a wealth of wider experience, while others are just starting out on their career journey. This creates a unique and dynamic environment that reflects the culture of PowisVets.

In Autumn 2023, we moved to a purpose-built clinic designed to support our commitment to sustainable, adaptable veterinary care. The facility combines state-of-the-art advancements with our traditional values of kindness, professionalism, and a personalised service. We aim to provide a welcoming, stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Our reception area is warm and accessible, with parking directly outside and a wide entrance for wheelchairs and buggies. Inside, we have separate cat and dog waiting areas to reduce stress, sound-proofed wards, and a cat ward designed to meet ISFM gold standards for cat-friendly care.
