Returning unopened, unused, or out of date medications to the practice for safe disposal when attending a routine appointment.

Flushing medicines, pouring them down the sink or disposing of them via landfill (black bin) poses a risk to the environment. We encourage all our customers to return any unopened/unused/out of date medications to the practice for safe disposal when attending a routine appointment.

This allows PowisVets to dispose of the medications safely and in the most environmentally friendly way possible while also cutting down on additional trips made by you, our customers to the practice. All these little changes can make a big difference to the environment around us.
